3rd Circ. Demands Guatemalans' Return Just After Deportation

By Vin Gurrieri (June 22, 2015, 8:30 PM EDT) -- A Third Circuit judge on Friday ordered the U.S. immigration officials to track down a mother and daughter who were deported to Guatemala earlier that day and immediately bring them back to the United States.

Chief Circuit Judge Theodore A. McKee said the court would have granted the petitioners' request for a stay of removal, but was informed that they were removed early Friday, hours before the judge issued the order that they be returned.
