TomTom, Others Sued Over Sound System Patent

Law360, New York (August 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A patent-licensing company has sued four electronics makers, including Netherlands-based TomTom Inc., for allegedly infringing a patent for connecting portable audio players to car sound systems.

In a complaint filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Affinity Labs of Texas LLC accused TomTom, DICE Electronics LLC, jWIN Electronics Corp. and VAIS Technology Ltd. of infringing U.S. Patent Number 7,324,833.
