DC Circ. Sets Fast-Track For Net Neutrality Fight

By Bill Donahue (June 30, 2015, 1:58 PM EDT) -- The D.C. Circuit on Monday set a speedy schedule for the closely watched legal challenge to the Federal Communications Commission's tough new net neutrality rules, putting the case on track for a ruling early next year.

Sticking with the plan for an expedited case, opening briefs are due by July 30 from the United States Telecom Association and the others challenging the new rules, which bar broadband providers from favoring certain traffic. The agency's brief is due by September 14, and oral arguments will be held sometime after October 13.
