Ex-Fox Rothschild Atty Pleads Not Guilty to Insider Trading
Law360, Los Angeles (July 20, 2015, 9:25 PM EDT) -- A former Fox Rothschild LLP partner indicted on insider trading charges pled not guilty on Monday to allegations the Pennsylvania lawyer illegally profited from Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co.'s $760 million acquisition of Harleysville Group Inc.
After Herbert Sudfeld, 64, entered a not guilty plea on all counts in Pennsylvania federal court, U.S. Magistrate Judge Jacob P. Hart ordered his release on bail of $100,000, told Sudfeld to surrender his passport and restricted his travel to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey and the Southern District of New York, according to court documents.
