REACH May Inspire TSCA Reforms In Coming Years

Law360 (September 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The European Union's tough REACH chemicals regulation has shed new light on long-standing and widespread concerns about weaknesses in the U.S. Toxic Substances Control Act, and spurred a growing demand for changes that give the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency stronger tools to crack down on potentially dangerous substances.
