Minnesota May File Suit Against UnitedHealth

Law360, New York (June 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The legal onslaught caused by allegations of options backdating is just beginning for healthcare provider UnitedHealth Group. After being hit with several class action suits and a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigation, the company may now face charges by the state of Minnesota.

The state of Minnesota, UnitedHealth’s home base, had requested to join a lawsuit brought by shareholders against the company.
