Judge OKs US Trustee's Request For SemGroup Probe

Law360, New York (September 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has ordered the U.S. Department of Justice's trustee program to enlist an examiner to investigate possible fraud in the trading strategy of SemGroup LP, the bankrupt oil distributor whose liquidity problems have raised the eyebrows of the company's creditors and regulatory agencies.
