Lilly, States Quarrel Over Zyprexa Discovery

Law360, New York (September 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Eli Lilly & Co. has traded shots with six states over motions for sanctions and allegations of failure to meet discovery obligations in the multidistrict litigation over the anti-psychotic Zyprexa.

In a letter to Magistrate Judge Roanne L. Mann filed Sept. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, Lilly reiterated its motions for sanctions against Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana and New Mexico and said that the six states "are delinquent in their obligations to produce their claims databases to Lilly."...
