Mayer Walks Away From Merger Talks With Heller

Law360, New York (September 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Merger talks involving Heller Ehrman LLP have fallen through for the second time in just over a month, with the ailing firm's latest would-be partner Mayer & Brown LLP citing client and practice conflicts as it walked away from the deal Monday.
