Class Certified In Lawsuit Against Goldman Sachs

Law360 (September 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has certified a class in a securities case alleging that Goldman Sachs Group Inc. misled the public by saying its research department put out an unbiased and independent product, when the company's research and investment banking arms were actually in frequent conflicts that tainted the research.
