Bank of America Punches Back At Parmalat

Law360, New York (June 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As Parmalat seeks to dismiss some of Bank of America Corp.’s counterclaims related to the Italian diary giant's implosion, the nation’s number two bank has asked the court to deny the motion and allow its $1 billion damages claim to proceed.

On Thursday, Bank of America asked U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan to stick to his original March decision and let the North Carolina-based bank press on with its counterattack.
