Judge Keeps Alive CA's Trade Secrets Suit V. Rocket

Law360, New York (September 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has tossed some claims but kept others in a copyright infringement and trade secrets misappropriation suit filed by CA. Inc. against rival Rocket Software Inc. over source code for database administration software. CA is seeking at least $200 million in damages.

Judge Arthur D. Spatt signed an order granting some of Rocket's motions to dismiss and denying others on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
