Judge Approves Consent Decree In Ill. CERCLA Suit

Law360, New York (September 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Despite objections from Sherwin-Williams Co., a federal judge has approved a consent decree between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and T.L. Diamond Co. Inc. — a manufacturer of zinc powder and oxide — regarding cleanup costs at the Eagle Zinc Superfund Site in Illinois, for which Sherwin-Williams is also held liable.
