Vector's Cutco Trainees Win Cert. In FLSA Wage Suit

Law360, San Francisco (September 8, 2015, 8:36 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge certified a nationwide Fair Labor Standards Act collective action along with 45,000 Vector Marketing Corp. employees in five states who say they weren't paid for time they spent in training sessions they needed to become Cutco knife sales representatives.

U.S. District Court Judge Edward Chen on Friday granted final certification to their collective action under the FLSA, which he conditionally certified in March.
