Sears, Whirlpool Settle Dishwasher Row With Repairs, Rebates

Law360, Los Angeles (September 14, 2015, 9:21 PM EDT) -- Sears Holdings Corp. and Whirlpool Corp. agreed to pay for repairs and post public warnings to settle a class action accusing the companies of hiding a defective circuit board that caused name-brand dishwashers to burst into flames, according to a filing in California federal court Friday.
