Nutraceutical's Homeopathics Just 'Sugar Pills,' Suit Says

By Brandon Lowrey (September 16, 2015, 8:14 PM EDT) -- A proposed class of homeopathic remedy customers hit dietary supplements maker Nutraceutical Corp. and two of its subsidiaries with a false advertising suit alleging several of its NatraBio products, including smoking withdrawal aids and children's cold remedies, are basically just "sugar pills."

In the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the NatraBio remedies for colds, flus, allergies, pain, tobacco cravings and leg cramps have no medicinal value and also contain artificial ingredients, contrary to their "all natural" marketing.
