Delta Looks To Hire Ernst & Young

Law360 (June 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Delta Air Lines Inc. filed a request Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan to hire Big Four accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP to help steer its Chapter 11 proceedings.

If the request is approved, Ernst & Young will serve as Delta’s independent auditor and tax advisor; Gerald B. Wilson will become the principal assigned to the case.

The firm will bill Delta for primary audit services at a fixed fee of $2.5 million. Partners will also charge $650-$708 an hour for additional bankruptcy-related...
