Bickering Over Delphi Pension Plan Stops

Law360 (September 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Delphi Corp.'s unsecured creditors have reached a compromise with the company in their fight over a purported agreement with General Motors Corp., paving the way for the automotive giant to pick up billions in pension obligations owed by the former subsidiary.

On Thursday, the two sides agreed to make certain changes to the earlier deal, hoping to provide some recovery to unsecured creditors as Delphi inches toward an exit from bankruptcy.
