Comair Seeks To Scrap Contract With Flight Attendants

Law360, New York (June 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a drawn-out and rocky dispute with its flight attendants, Delta Air Lines Inc. subsidiary Comair plans to ask a bankruptcy court to toss its labor contract with the attendants in an effort to slash millions of dollars in costs.

Comair, which filed for Chapter 11 at the same time as Delta last September, has been busy working out a new deal with the flight attendants’ union, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, after Judge Adlai Hardin rejected a similar request made in April and urged both...
