Massive Class Certified In RJ Reynolds ERISA Suit

Law360 (October 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A class of over 3,500 has been certified in a long-running suit against R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and its retirement plan administrators for allegedly violating the Employee Retirement Income Security Act when it sold certain stocks in the retirement investment plan after the tobacco company spun off from RJR Nabisco Holdings Corp.
