Mass. AG Appeals NRC Decision On Rulemaking

Law360, New York (October 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley has appealed a decision by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission to deny a rulemaking petition that affects the re-licensing of two New England nuclear power stations and ignores a request for the agency to address the risks of severe accidents at those plants.
