Trump Loses Bid To Oust Morrison Cohen From Case

By Christine Caulfield (October 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Real estate mogul Donald Trump lost the latest battle in his war with Morrison Cohen LLP on Monday, when a New York judge denied a motion to disqualify his former lawyers from representing the principals of a property development group Trump is suing in a licensing spat.

Trump, who allegedly owes Morrison Cohen $470,000 in legal fees and is separately suing the firm and its partner David Scharf for overcharging him, had argued that the firm should be barred from acting as counsel for the other side.
