Producer Sues Museum Over 'Little House' Rights

Law360 (October 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The producer of iconic TV show “Little House on the Prairie” is challenging a tiny Kansas museum's right to use the series name on its merchandise, arguing that the nonprofit is capitalizing on the popularity of the show, which recently debuted as a musical.

Friendly Family Productions LLC sued Little House on the Prairie Inc. on Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division, seeking damages and an injunction against use of the trademark.
