Patent Holder Files 3rd Suit Over Heat Sink Patent

Law360, New York (October 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Patent-holding company Intellectual Capital Holdings Ltd. on Thursday sued Samsung, Toshiba, LG Electronics, SIM2 USA and Mitsubishi Digital Electronics, accusing the electronics giants of infringing a patent for an electronic cooling component.

The suit, filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, is the third suit brought by Intellectual Capital Holdings in recent months over the use of the component, called a “Forced air heat sink apparatus.”
