US Denies Superfund Liability At Hazardous NJ Site

Law360, New York (October 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. government on Tuesday denied all liability for pollution at the site of a former military manufacturing facility in New Jersey and urged a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit by the landowners seeking contributions for ongoing response costs at the property.
