Weil Looks To Cross NYRA Finish Line With $6.5M

Law360 (October 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Just over a month after it guided the New York Racing Association Inc. out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP has asked the court to approve $6.5 million in fees and expenses for its work on the case.

The final application for compensation, filed Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, seeks $6,254,120.40 in total compensation and $312,427.87 in expenses for the case for work done from Nov. 2, 2006, through April 28.
