Law360, Jersey City (December 2, 2015, 6:24 PM EST) -- The New Jersey Supreme Court has approved for multi-county litigation status more than 100 suits against Johnson & Johnson Inc. claiming the company's baby powder and other talc-based products sold over the counter caused ovarian cancer, according to a notice posted Wednesday.
The court granted the request of J&J and its subsidiaries for centralized management of the cases, housing the litigation in Atlantic County Superior Court before Assignment Judge Julio L. Mendez and Judge Nelson C. Johnson, the Nov. 25 notice from Acting Administrative Director of the Courts Glenn A. Grant states.
J&J representatives did not return a request for comment....
