Pepsi Helps Bust Sellers Of Coke Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (July 6, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Not about to mess with its longtime rival’s coveted trade secrets, PepsiCo Inc. pointed authorities towards three people who stole confidential information about Coca-Cola Co.’s recipes and attempted to sell it to Pepsi.

The suspects were arrested after a $1.5 million deal orchestrated by undercover agents was set to take place. They appeared before a federal magistrate judge on Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
