Analysts, Firms Subpoenaed In Lehman Probes

Law360 (October 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Several Wall Street securities firms have reportedly been subpoenaed by federal prosecutors deepening their probes into the collapse of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.

The subpoenas request information from unnamed brokerage firms about whether their analysts were misled by Lehman executives in conference calls and one-on-one conversations about the firm's financial health as its stock was plummeting earlier this year, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
