'Hedge Fund Wives' Sparks Copyright Family Feud

Law360, New York (October 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The author of an upcoming novel called “Hedge Fund Wives” has filed a copyright lawsuit against her older sister, claiming that the sister is trying to hijack authorial credit for the book.

Tatiana Boncompagni Hoover filed the suit Monday in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, accusing her sister Natasha Boncompagni of secretly copying parts of the book as a work in progress, then filing a copyright application naming both women as co-authors.
