Oil City Petroleum Dodges Exxon Cleanup Claim

Law360, New York (October 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has released a third-party defendant from Exxon Mobil Corp. and Quanta Resources Corp.'s attempt to recover millions of dollars paid to settle an environmental cleanup case in Queens, N.Y.

Oil City Petroleum Co. Inc. was voluntarily dismissed Monday from the lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, with prejudice and without costs.
