Fla. High Court Suspends 3 Adams & Diaco Attys In DUI Setup

By Nathan Hale (January 15, 2016, 4:40 PM EST) -- The Florida Supreme Court on Friday suspended three attorneys of defunct Tampa law firm Adams & Diaco PA while it reviews a recommendation of their permanent disbarment based on a finding they set up an opposing counsel for a drunken driving arrest.

The state's highest court issued its ruling, which is effective in 30 days to allow the lawyers to tie up any loose ends, after considering opposition to the suspensions from two of the attorneys, Stephen Diaco and Adam Filthaut. The third respondent, Robert D. Adams, did not contest the court's notice of its intentions.
