'Patent Troll' To Fight HTC, BlackBerry Fees In IP Row

By Vin Gurrieri (January 22, 2016, 2:28 PM EST) -- Advanced Video Technologies LLC, a so-called patent troll, has told a New York federal court that it will appeal to the Federal Circuit a decision ordering it to pay attorneys' fees under the U.S. Supreme Court's Octane ruling to HTC, Motorola Mobility, and BlackBerry over a dismissed patent infringement case.
