When It Comes To Voting, Workers Need Flexibility

Law360, New York (October 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With wait times for early voting in some states estimated to run into hours, the upcoming elections have many voters wondering whether they'll even have time to cast their ballots.

More than half of the 50 states and the District of Columbia have laws that guarantee time off from work if workers don't have time to vote over the course of election day.
