Wendy's Probing Suspected Payment Card Breach

Law360, New York (January 27, 2016, 10:30 PM EST) -- National fast-food chain Wendy’s said on Wednesday that it is investigating reports of suspicious activity involving payment cards used at some of its restaurants, but offered no details on the scope of the possible data breach or which locations might be impacted.

In a statement provided to Law360, Wendy’s acknowledged that it had been told that payment cards that were legitimately used at some restaurants had later incurred fraudulent charges elsewhere.
