Delta Asks For More Cash For Law Firms

Law360, New York (July 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt Delta Air Lines Inc. is once again asking to shell out cash to law firms and consultants, including Davis Polk & Wardell’s New York office, after they requested $32.8 million in payments.

The amount would cover fees and expenses incurred mostly over a four-month period of work by 23 firms and individuals, and bring the total cost of the case to a whopping $74.2 million.
