BSkyB, Virgin Strike Deal To End Channel Feud

Law360, New York (November 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bringing to an end a bitter pricing dispute that has lasted over a year in the U.K. High Court, Virgin Media Inc. and British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC have agreed to a channel licensing deal.

The companies announced Tuesday that they would withdraw all legal battles against each other as part of the agreement.

“I believe this agreement represents a fair deal and is the right thing for our customers,” Virgin Media CEO Neil Berkett said in a statement.
