NY Judge Denies Early Relief In 'Real Housewives' Fight

By Stewart Bishop (February 5, 2016, 6:13 PM EST) -- A New York judge on Friday denied dueling bids to assert control over an apparel company founded by a former star of reality television series "The Real Housewives of New York City" in a fight with the company's manager and financial backer, calling the efforts premature.

The dispute is between Heather Thomson Schindler, the creative force behind women's clothing line Yummie by Heather Thomson, and Eric Rothfeld, Yummie's manager and the principal of private equity firm REI Capital, which backed the company with a $1 million loan and along with affiliates, controls a 49 percent stake.
