Rembrandt Sues Fox Units In Digital TV Battle

Law360 (November 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- With a multidistrict action against network and cable television giants already in midstream, patent-holding company Rembrandt Technologies LP has accused two subsidiaries of Fox Entertainment Group Inc. of infringing a patent related to digital television signals.

The complaint, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleges that Fox Television Stations Inc. and MyNetworkTV Inc. use apparatus and methods to transmit digital television signals covered by Rembrandt’s patent.
