Dannon Says Chobani Wants To 'Whittle Away' Yogurt Ad Ban

Law360, New York (February 24, 2016, 12:31 PM EST) -- Dannon blasted rival Chobani in New York federal court Tuesday for attempting to "whittle away" at an advertising injunction issued in their dispute over a series of ads criticizing a sweetener used in Dannon's Greek yogurt, urging the court not to reconsider its order.

Chobani LLC has argued that the injunction handed down last month was overbroad because it prevents the company from calling the sweetener sucralose "bad" and from using its own tagline "no bad stuff," but The Dannon Co. Inc. said that's "nothing more than an effort to come right up to the line of what is permissible."...
