Investcorp Nabs DC Office Building In $180M Deal

Law360, New York (February 29, 2016, 3:10 PM EST) -- Bahrain-based investment manager Investcorp said Monday that its U.S. real estate arm has purchased a Washington, D.C. office building with private equity firm ScanlanKemperBard Cos. for $180 million from Jamestown LP, as it looks to expand in key markets.

The property, 733 10th St., is 100 percent occupied and contains 170,813 square feet of luxury office space, according to a statement from Investcorp announcing the deal. The company said it has now completed deals for assets with a total value of more than $1.5 billion over the last 12 months, with the latest purchase representing a new strategy.
