Related Scores $136M Fannie Loan For Queens Project

Law360, Minneapolis (March 1, 2016, 6:02 PM EST) -- The Related Cos. has scored $136.47 million in Fannie Mae financing originated by Wells Fargo Bank NA for several commercial condo units on 50th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens, a deal Blank Rome LLP worked on, according to records made public in New York on Monday.

Deborah A. Franzblau of Blank Rome worked on the financing, although it was unclear from public records which party she represented, and Franzblau couldn’t be immediately reached for comment on Tuesday.

The financing is for five commercial condo units at I-50 50th Ave., the site of Related's Hunter’s Point South Commons affordable housing tower....
