Employment Practice: Sidley Austin

Law360 (November 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has been steadily pursuing its mandate to go after systemic discrimination, which likely will continue to be a priority, according to labor, employment and immigration lawyers at Sidley Austin LLP.

Laura Allen, an employment and labor lawyer at Sidley Austin, said the EEOC has turned its attention to large claim patterns and seems particularly interested in glass-ceiling, age and race claims. “The importance of dealing with the EEOC is growing and growing,” Allen said.
