Judge OKs $9M Settlement Of Vocera Stock Inflation Suit

Law360, New York (March 4, 2016, 6:36 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Friday gave an initial green light to a $9 million settlement of securities class action litigation accusing health care communications company Vocera Communications Inc. of artificially inflating its stock prices.

U.S. District Judge Edward M. Chen signed off on the deal, which is estimated to amount to about $0.44 per allegedly damaged share after deduction of attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses, according to court documents.
