Mich. Gov. Snyder, Flint Face New Action Over Water Crisis

Law360, Los Angeles (March 7, 2016, 11:22 PM EST) -- Gov. Rick Snyder and the city of Flint, Michigan, were hit with a new proposed class action in Michigan federal court on Monday in which seven families claim their gross negligence caused the city’s water to become contaminated with lead.

The 78-page complaint accuses the defendants of failing to provide safe drinking water to Flint residents and downplaying the seriousness of the lead contamination in the city’s water system once the contamination became known.
