SemGroup Asks Court To Force Insiders To Appear

Law360 (November 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Facing subpoenas by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, beleaguered energy company SemGroup LP has asked a court to order company insiders to appear for questioning by its lawyers over the company's prebankruptcy activities.

SemGroup filed a motion Wednesday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware seeking permission to quiz former chief operating officer Kevin Foxx; co-founder Thomas Kivisto's former assistant, Sharon Pens; and Kivisto's former accounting officer, Gregory Price.
