SEC Subpoenas Able Energy Partner, Auditors

Law360, New York (November 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Federal regulators have served Able Energy Inc.’s auditors and one of its partners with subpoenas related to an ongoing investigation into the sale of company securities and disclosure practices.

The Rockaway, N.J.-based company said Thursday the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this week demanded documents and testimony from a company partner and its current auditors as part of the agency’s private investigation.
