Tire Co. Inks $2M Deal To Exit EEOC Sex Bias Row

Law360, Washington (March 25, 2016, 2:19 PM EDT) -- A New York tire company reached an agreement with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, according to a consent decree in federal court on Thursday, dismissing a discrimination suit in return for a $2.1 million payout and an order not to base hiring decisions on applicants’ sex.
