Adelphia Seeks Ownership Of Small Cable Network

Law360, New York (July 26, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Adelphia Communications Corp. asked a federal judge on Monday to approve a settlement agreement that would help complete the $17 billion sale of its assets to Time Warner Inc. and Comcast Corp.

According to documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan, Adelphia could lose millions of dollars if it isn’t able to transfer ownership of the fiber-optic network of two small cable companies in Pennsylvania.
