Judge OKs Sale Of Boscov's To Family-Led Group

Law360 (November 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A bankruptcy court judge on Friday approved the sale of virtually all the assets of discount retailer Boscov's Department Store LLC to a Boscov family consortium, just one day after Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell and two cities in the state pledged more than $40 million in aid to the consortium.
